Tanzina Vega is bringing The Takeaway to Salt Lake City for a live show on Thursday, June 6.
She'll be leading a discussion about the abduction and murder of indigenous women, girls, and two-spirit people in the Mountain West and across the country. The conversation will touch on the role that law enforcement plays, the need for better data and what communities and local government are doing to end the cycle of violence. Confirmed guests include journalist Graham Lee Brewer, Representative Angela Romero, and PANDOS board member Jennifer Boyce.
