KUER's Terry Gildea Elected PRNDI President

Austen Diamond

Congratulations to KUER's News Director, Terry Gildea, who has been elected president of Public Radio News Directors Incorporated (PRNDI).

Gildea will be replacing George Bodarky of WFUV, and has been an at-large member of the PRNDI board for the last three years. During his upcoming tenure, Gildea hopes that PRNDI can be "a resource for information, and a gathering place for innovators." He also "hope[s] to build stronger relationships between PRNDI and NPR, especially concerning collaborations involving member stations and the network." PRNDI is an association representing those responsible for the day-to-day direction, reporting and editing of local public media newsrooms.
