Salt Lake City, UT – Wednesday on RadioWest we give you our contribution to Earth Day. Here's our take on the celebration: the earth as a muse. Utah's Poet Laureate Katharine Coles will join us to talk about the relationship between the environment and poetry. Poets have always been inspired by nature, so today we'll hear some poems. We'll start with Chaucer, but there's Keats and Eliot Kay Ryan James Wright. You can join us with your own poems about the earth.

The Utah Humanities Council will sponsor the Bite Size Poetry Project. It will include a Poem of the Month e-mail, a Video Poem Contest, a Tweet Size Poem Contest and more. For more information, e-mail Guy Lebeda or call 801-236-7553.
