Author Julia Glass
Author Julia Glass

By Doug Fabrizio

Salt Lake City, UT – Julia Glass published her first novel at the age of 44 and with it won the National Book Award. So where does a sophomore writer go next? Glass told the Detroit Free Press that she set out to find a new point of view - to create something "consciously different." Julia Glass will be in Salt Lake city this weekend, and Tuesday she joins Doug to talk about her book The Whole World Over. It's a story of the accidents - and the choices - that define the loves in life.

Julia Glass will read from and sign her latest book The Whole World Over this Saturday afternoon, June 30th at 2:00 p.m. The event is at the King's English Bookshop, 1511 S 1500 East in Salt Lake City. For more information, call the store at 484-9100.
