By Doug Fabrizio

Salt Lake City, UT – Terrell Dougan was 12 years old when she began advocating for the mentally disabled. Her sister Irene had been diagnosed with her own disability, and the family worked tirelessly for her and others in the community. When their parents died, though, Terrell began to care for Irene, and she quickly learned that whatever plans she might make, Irene had a few ideas of her own. Terrell Dougan has written a book about her experience, and she joins us for a conversation about the love, humor and compassion she found in her adventures with Irene.
