Salt Lake City, Utah – Blog. The word itself is only about 10 years old, but it didn't take long for the online diaries to become ubiquitous and powerful. As the author Scott Rosenberg puts it, blogging's interactivity "was not some bell or whistle. It was the whole point of the Web." Rosenberg has written a history of blogging and Friday, he joins guest host Jennifer Napier-Pearce to talk about the evolution of electronic communication and why it matters.
