NPR Correspondent Michele Norris at SLCC's Grand Theatre, February 11th

The Salt Lake Community College presents Michele Norris at the Grand Theatre (1575 S. State), February 11, 2014 from 7-9 p.m.  The event is free, but tickets are required  

Michele Norris is an award winning journalist, NPR Correspondent, and previous host of NPR’s All Things Considered. Before joining NPR, Norris worked for ABC News, The Washington Post, Chicago Tribune and the Los Angeles Times.  Norris also leads the "The Race Card Project," an initiative to foster a wider conversation about race in America that she created after the publication of her 2010 family memoir, The Grace of Silence.  The Salt Lake Community College and the Community Writing Center have organized a set of events surrounding Norris’s visit and The Race Card Project.
