Salt Lake City, UT – As the human population grows, studies show that human-caused noise is growing too. The roar of automobile and airplane traffic extends across the landscape, and even reaches into remote environments. Scientists are starting to wonder what sort of effects this might have on animal species. Jeff Rice reports for the Western Soundscapes radio series.
