WATCH: Let’s go sandboarding at Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park!

If you live in Utah, you've certainly tried a lot of outdoor activities — like hiking, biking or camping. Yawn. But have you ever heard of sandboarding?

When I found out it was like sledding or snowboarding, but with sand, I had to try it. In the late afternoon on a warm summer day, my family and I took a trip to Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park. You'll find the picturesque park on 1,200 acres of ever-shifting dunes in southwest Utah, just west of Kanab near the Arizona border.

Spoiler, the hardest part of sandboarding definitely wasn’t the ride down.
