The Utah Inland Port Authority postponed their decision to create a new public infrastructure district and issue $150 million in bonds for port projects.
Since 2018, the Utah Legislature has put forth a bill to tweak the state’s inland port project. This year’s measure passed a Senate committee Monday morning. Among other things, it creates a bank to distribute loans for inland port infrastructure throughout the state.
