It's a sunny, spring afternoon and Holly Spriggs and her teenage son, Sawyer Michaud, are digging around in her giant garden outside of Lander, Wyo.

"We're working on planting some potatoes and onions before we get some moisture here," she says. 

Spriggs is having a great time, but Sawyer would rather be snowmobiling.

You’ve probably heard about the GDP or those “best places to live” rankings. The Family Prosperity Index also factors in family life as a measure of well-being. And the latest rankings show Mountain West states doing pretty well.

Chances are you know a child with autism. In Utah roughly 1 in 58 kids are on the autism spectrum. And this likely won’t surprise you because in recent years a lot has been done to raise awareness. But knowing these kids are out there, that’s just the first step. There’s a growing need for training on how best to work with these kids.
