6/15/2011: One Hundred Names for Love
Salt Lake City, Utah – Doug talks to the author and naturalist Diane Ackerman about her latest and most personal book. Ackerman's husband is the author Paul West. In 2003, he suffered a stroke that left him without the ability to write or even to speak. The pair had built their 40 year marriage on a shared obsession with words, so the long recovery wasn't just about West and his craft. It was also about strengthening the bonds that had held the two together for so long. Her book is called "One Hundred Names for Love."
