KUER will be participating in three days of the Bluff Arts Festival, from October 17 - 20. Bring your lawn chair and hear a radio essay from the late Ellen Meloy at the Riverside Storytelling Festival; see the RadioWest film DARK SKIES at the Bluff Film Festival; or stop by our booth at the artisan market for a high-five and to meet reporter Kate Groetzinger who is running our southeast Utah bureau.
- Thursday, October 17 | 7 p.m. | Recapture Lodge — Grab a lawn chair or blanket and follow the half-mile long torch-lit path to the river behind Recapture Lodge to listen to selected authors from the Ellen Meloy Desert Fund for Writers. KUER will play a selection from Meloy's "Desert Sketches" a collection of radio essays recorded for the station.
- Friday, October 18 | 7 p.m. | Bluff Community Center — The goal of the film festival is to highlight relevant and powerful topics that impact the four corners region.
