ST. GEORGE — Washington County residents got a glimpse of the future on Tuesday, when Utah transportation officials kicked off three days of free test rides on an autonomous shuttle now touring the state.

ST. GEORGE — The recent flurry of winter storms that caused accidents and traffic problems across the state did not leave Southern Utah untouched.

The Utah Department of Transportation filed a lawsuit Thursday against the builder of a Timpanogos Highway project, claiming at least $29 million dollars in damages.

Groups Ask UDOT to Stop West Davis Corridor

  A coalition of community and environmental groups is asking the Utah Department of Transportation to reconsider building a new freeway along the west side of Davis County.  Their so-called "Shared Solution" asks U-DOT to study improving east-west roads and walkable communities as an alternative.

Community activist Lori Kalt wants to avoid a new freeway cutting through her neighborhood on the west side of Farmington.
